About GullyShirt

Shirts from the gully.

GullyShirt is a Bengaluru clothing label that started with 200 shirts and one design.

The word gully means the lane you actually live on — not the mall, not the high street. The lane where the cricket happens between two parked bikes and everybody knows everybody. That is where our shirts are meant to be worn.

What we make

Oversized, drop-shoulder cotton tees with prints worth looking at twice. Our Kannada Rajyotsava special edition celebrates Karnataka in its own words — the Kannada alphabet, the stirring line Barisu Kannada Dindimava, a map of the state built from the names of its places, a tribute to Appu, and proud Kannadiga wordmarks — on 240 GSM cotton, in 10 colours.

We also make a plain tee with nothing on it, and the Vighnaharta Ganesha tee: a Ganesha drawn like an architect's blueprint, on 180 GSM cotton.

Who is behind it

One person, for now. Yogeesh, in Bengaluru. Every design, every order, every WhatsApp reply. If something goes wrong with your order, you are talking to the person who can actually fix it.
